Brand I Love: Sunday Riley

Sunday Riley is one of those brands that I have a special relationship/bond with. When my skin was at its worst with acnes & cystic acnes, Sunday Riley’s products helped me get through that period when I could not see the end of it myself. And even though now I only have occasional breakouts, I still use its products on a daily basis to keep my face clear as well as for its anti-aging effects. I just cannot stop using them (like my skincare safety blanket… )! If you are suffering from acne as well, these products from Sunday Riley will definitely worth you trying. Its lines of products are just no BS & high-performance. Add your own eye cream, then together they make the perfect night-time routine. Ceramic Slip Cleanser When you first use it, you might feel like it’s doing nothing because it’s not your typical foamy stripping cleanser, but as you keep using it, you will be amazed at how clean your pores become over time. This cleanser has two kinds of …

Are Eyelash Extension Worth the Money?

I’ve had my doubts but I am falling back in love with it again. It’s addicting to look fabulous 24 hours and to spend only 30 minutes getting ready in the morning. What’s the point of spending that much money if they cannot stay put? This time, I tried retouching after the first three weeks, and as if my eyelashes got used it, they still look great three weeks after retouching. The place I have my eyelash extension’s done here in NYC is a place called Bling Lash, highly recommend the place girls there have really delicate hands.   The downside of all this is, of course, the cost. The first pair cost about …

Burnout from lipsticks

I spent an hour yesterday, before going to bed, browsing through photos, reviews and swatches of tons of lipsticks. The chain of distraction started from Burberry’s new liquid lip velvet. I learned from my mistake of committing too fast to a lip product that’s been so hyped up, by this I mean Giorgio Armani’s lip magnet, and wanted to read as many reviews as possible for this lipstick before picking one up myself. Then I realize Sephora run out of the color I want and so I decided to check out Instagram a bit and then go to sleep. This led to another discovery of Hourglass’s new lipstick launch – GIRL Lip Stylo; looked amazing with a great concept, investigated this line a bit. And this brought me to Sephora where I found I have this SEPHORA favorites give me some nude lip lipstick set and Smashbox’s matte lipstick in my Sephora shopping cart…look further into those lines. I didn’t fall asleep until 3 am, my brain could not stop thinking about all the lipsticks and the …
